Remember: for you to hold a Firearms Collectors Licence and/or Collect Prohibited weapons, you need to be a current member of an “Approved Collectors Association” The Golden City Collectors Association Inc. of Bendigo, holds approved Status, Section 28 (2) of the 1996 Firearm Act with the chief Commissioner – Victoria Police, and GIC exemption under section 8B Control of weapons Act 1990. Please Note: It is a legal responsibility that all firearms/edged weapon collectors and owners must be financial with the Golden City Collectors Association Inc. of Bendigo by the due date - 1st of July each year.
